Many thanks to the residents and motorists of Tinicum andNockamixon townships for their care and courtesy extended to morethan 3,000 bicyclists during Central Bucks Bicycle Club’s annualCovered Bridge Ride on Oct. 9. It was a beautiful day, and thefoliage of Bucks County was at its peak.
Our club’s ride has been featured in several magazines as one ofthe top bicycle rides on the East Coast. It is designed for everytype of cyclist, including a family ride.
Not only does our club promote good will and tourism, but oursurplus items are donated to various organizations in Doylestownand Upper Bucks. this year, we were able to donate to the Lord’sPantry at St. John’s and to families and the building fund at St.Luke’s UCC, Ottsville.
Thank you for sharing the roads and byways of Bucks County. I amso proud to be a member of both St. Luke’s UCC and the CentralBucks Bicycle Club. and, of course, a resident of Tinicum.
