“Scarygirl,” a graphic novel that won the 2009 Aurealis Award for best Illustrated Book/Graphic novel, is coming to gaming consoles on the 18th of this month (January, 2012). Scarygirl, originally written by Nathan Jurevicius, is an adventure into a bizarre world that is being discovered by the main character Scarygirl, who is an abandoned child that dresses like a pirate, has a tentacle for an arm, and who has reoccurring dreams about a strange man.
In the story, Scarygirl sets out to find the meaning of her dreams and along the way befriends a giant octopus named Blister and a Kung-Fu bunny named Bunniguru. Her enemies on the other hand include giant spiders, deadly hedgehogs, a violent clan of goats and finally, crossing guards around the town.
The game will be rated E10+, will have 2-player Co-op and will be launched on multiple platforms including Xbox 360 and PS3.Check out the new launch trailer for the game below:
