Paranorman’s In The News – Read A New Edition Of The Blithe Hollow Bugle

Paranorman is the next picture due from the amassed stop-motion wunderkinds at Laika. It’s the kind of film that can only be made with truly staggering attention to detail.

I’m glad to see some of that is carrying over into the marketing campaign too.

Today, we’re getting to premiere the new edition of The Blithe Hollow Bugle, a newspaper from the town within the movie. if this newspaper were “actual” size, so that the little Paranorman puppet could hold it and read it, you probably wouldn’t be able to make out a single word.

In digital form, however, you can just click through to make it much bigger.

There’s only been one previous issue of the Bugle published online – in the haunted town of Blithe Hollow it seems that print lives on, or is at least undead.

Check out the online archive (such as it is) to read the December 19th edition. I dare say we’ll see a few more published ahead of the movie’s release this August, in the US, and September 14th, in the UK.
