Yep, cosign Wiseguy….proper reboot is absolutely the way to go! Until then, I’ll enjoy what i can in these X-films and keep hoping…I always wanted to see the classic X-Men villains done RIGHT…Sebastian Shaw was pretty cool, but I want PROPER Sentinels, Sabretooth, mr. Sinister, Apocalypse, Juggernaut, Nimrod, Legion etc….any one of those done RIGHT (X3 Juggernaut was such a FAIL) would be crazy on-screen. Or any story involving Cable/Stryfe and time-travel would be cool too!
Couple thoughts on a good nemesis for Magneto in the new flick…
Mimic – they can go with two versions, either Mimic with the whole first Class’s set of powers, or Mimic with a rotating set of powers based on who he’s fighting at the given time.
Exodus – He’s a telepath, also has telekinesis and the ability to DRAIN LIFE FORCE…was once Magneto’s head Acolyte until he turned on him (how perfect does that sound? Magneto could start the Acolytes before the brotherhood in this film continity. This is my pick!)
Legion – can manipulate reality for f*cks sake. Xavier’s estranged son comes out of hiding (or something like that) as a mentally unstable and dangerously powerful mutant. Commence epic throwdown…Voila!
